Partner's name and location: Recyclingbörse Herford, north-western Germany

Partners Description:
Established in 1983, this independent and non-profit association aims to create jobs while protecting the environment. Recyclingbörse Herford have five sites around Herford that recycle, re-use, refurbish and resell all kinds of goods (including carpet tiles). They are recognised as one of the most effective recycling social enterprises.

Partner's Description:
Established in 1991 following the reunification of Germany and in response to the employment crisis, Netzwerk Mittweida employs 180 people (many part time) in furniture, textiles (including carpet tiles), or landscape projects. It has been recognised by various EU initiatives as a best practice organisation.
